After a long time, a Telugu star was offered to be the 'guest of honor' at IFFI. Mokshagna, the successor of Balayya, will be accompanying his actor-father to the film festival.
On the other hand, Telugu Film Fraternity is fuming at the organizers of IFFI for ignoring Tollywood completely in the documentary which was intended to pay tribute to 100 years of Indian Cinema. Few of the biggies were even thinking on holding a press meet to take potshot at the IFFI organizers for the unpardonable mistake.
Notably, none of the Telugu films have been qualified for screening at the 43rd International Film Festival of India which kickstarted from November 19 in Goa. IFFI is where India's best films will be showcased to International audience. The central committee has picked up 18 films from various language, which according to them would bring recognition to Indian Cinema.
