Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh's much awaited film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu joined the Sankranthi race now. The makers have decided to push the film's release from December 21 to January second week to cash in on the festive season.
However, trade pundits have been giving thumbs down to Dil Raju's idea as SVSC will be getting a solo release on Dec 21 and whereas for Sankranthi, it should take on other biggies. Already Ram Charan's Nayak and Prabhas's Mirchi were gearing up for release on January 9th and 11th.
With SVSC too joining the race, Industry is waiting with bated breath to know who will have the upper hand as this is for the first time all these top stars have been competing at the Box Office. For now both Mahesh and Charan will have a slight edge over Prabhas, as they on success track with their last films. Wait till Sankranthi for the final tally!
