Director makes Top Heroine pregnant ? !!

Grapevine in the Industry is that Sekhar Kammula is likely to direct the remake of Bollywood hit 'Kahaani' with Anushka in the lead. These reports might be bit surprising because this sensible filmmaker hasn't attempted a remake until now and no one will expect from a director of his calibre to copy someone's work.

The talk is that Sekhar was very much impressed with the storyline and the engaging screenplay of Kahaani, and so he couldn't turn down the offer when the makers approached him for the Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual. Apart from the critical acclaims, Kahaani was also declared as one of the biggest hits of 2012. While Vidya Balan played the lead in the Bollywood version of this woman oriented flick, Anushka will do the job for the remake.

It is heard that even Anushka had no second thought when she was asked to play the role of Pregnant woman, as she is aware of the fact that such chance rarely comes for an actress. With a perfect cast and crew, Kahaani has got every possibility to set the cash registers ringing in South as well.
