Jr NTR's Target @ 40 Crores !!

Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh, Superstar Mahesh's Dookudu and Businessman, Ramcharan's Racha are some blockbuster hits. But other than this, do they have anything in common?

Yes, says Jr NTR who is working hard to join that club. Despite of his strong mass following, the Nandamuri hero is yet to score a blockbuster that crosses the 40 crore mark achieved by all those Tollywood superhits. Right now, Jr is making no stone unturned to achieve this feat with his upcoming flick 'Baadshah' under the direction of Sreenu Vytla. Afterwards he wants to give another back to back blockbuster with Harish Shankar's movie, reveals an insider. Nandamuri fans are also disappointed with the last three flicks of Jr NTR, Shakti, Oosaravelli and Dammu. All of them turned duds at Box Office for their pale content and unwanted hungama. They are also waiting for a power-packed action flick that can push their hero back into the top.

Reports have that it is to focus on this '40 crore' club thing, Jr NTR is staying away from politics and paada yaatras. Baadshah will be hitting screens in March 2013, and the success of that movie will put an end to the needs of Nandamuri fans.

Mahesh and Charan in Remake Race?

Khaidi is not just a landmark film in Megastar Chiranjeevi's career, but also in Telugu Film Industry. 29-years (Oct 28, 1983) after the release of this Blockbuster, plans were in place for its Telugu remake.

Tandra Ramesh, who is currently producing Gopichand-Nayantara's flick, has acquired the Telugu remake rights of Khaidi from the producers trio (Tirupathi Reddy, Dhananjay Reddy & Sudhakar Reddy) for a whopping amount. The film would go to the floors in the second half of 2013.

However, who will be reprising the iconic role of 'Suryam' in this remake is not yet revealed. While Director Puri Jagannath and Mahesh Babu expressed keen interest to remake the film few months back, the fans of Megastar desparately wants Ram Charan to play the protagonist.

According to the Industry buzz, the lucky guy would be the one for whom Chiru has voted among Mahesh and Charan. With two top stars in race, all eyes were on this remake now!

Mahesh Babu to debut in Bollywood

If there is any South Indian Actor whom the North Indians will love to watch on the Silver Screen, that would be undoubtedly Mahesh Babu. Being the 5th Most Desired Man in India itself shows his pan-India image and how popular he is in other states.

Seems like the time has finally arrived for Superstar's Bollywood debut. In his recent interview, Director Gautam Menon revealed his plans to cast Mahesh in his dream project 'Yohan' which is a tri-lingual (Telugu, Tamil and Hindi).

Actually, Tamil Vijay was supposed to do Yohan but walked out of the project due to some creative differences with the director. While Vijay insisted on changing the script to suit to local sensibilities, Gautam decided to stick to the original and so the project was kept under burner. Now, Gautam Menon wants to revive the project by roping in Mahesh, which is not a bad idea either.
