Hero Locks Lips with Heroine for Publicity

Nothing will get you noticed or help you gain ill-fame faster than a well thought out and perfectly executed publicity stunt. Few of the actors and filmmakers in Tollywood have been choosing the same path!

The formal launch of fading hero Akash's new film 'Nagamani' which has a Nagalokam backdrop began on Friday. Usually, during the muhurat the actors will utter a dialogue for the first shot. But here, the makers have tried something different to garner some cheap publicity. Akash locked lips with female lead Kausalya and the pics were released to the media. And the most funniest part is the declaration from Akash that his character in the films has the shades of Chiranjeevi's role in Jagadekaveerudu Athilokasundari.

Such acts are nothing but publicity materials and the plan seems to have worked with the film drawing some attention.

Charan's 'Raw Sexuality' works on Women

Director Apporva Lakhia who is currently working on the remake of 1973-superhit Zanjeer can't stop showering praises on the film lead actor Ram Charan.

The director confidently says Ram Charan is one of those actors who will be making a mark of his own in the Hindi Film Industry. "Charan is the star to look out in the future. He has a raw sexuality which appeals to all women. I have seen his past works and I must say I'm one of his fans now. If not Charan, I wouldn't have gone ahead with the remake - These are the words I told to the producers. Glad that everything has fallen in place" he quotes.

Apoorva Lakhia is confident that Charan is capable of carrying off the Telugu version of the film on his shoulders with his huge fan base here, but doesn't want to put too much pressure on him for the Hindi version as this is his debut in Bollywood and so the makers had preferred a fantastic star cast Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt, Mahie Gill and Atul Kulkarni who can be a huge support system for him.

As Zanjeer is a Mumbai-based film, the protagonist (Ram Charan) will be shown as a police commissioner who gets transferred from Hyderabad to Mumbai in the Telugu version.

Rana Uses Kamal Hassan Trick

Hero Rana wanted to prove all his skills and their subsets in one single flick and that happens to be 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum'. Apart from the dialogues and emotions, there is this special trick played by Rana which needs a mention.

Long time back, versatile actor and hero Kamal Hassan sent shivers down the spines with his 'dwarf' role of Appu in the movie 'Apoorva Sahodarulu'. For 20 years, both Kamal and the film's director Singeetham Srinivasa Rao haven't revealed the trick behind the filming of that role. Last year, the director and even Kamal revealed how they have achieved it. Inspired by that it seems, even Rana tried to play that dwarf character for a song sequences in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum.

For a couple of seconds, Rana sizzles on the screen as part of 'circus' song in the movie. It is not known whether Rana has done extensive hard work like Kamal to act as a dwarf or it is simply a Visual Effects element. But the young man is getting praises for using that Kamal trick to give different kind of treat.
