Lawrence's Special B'Day gift for Superstar !!

Choreographer-turned-Director Lawrence who is a die-hard fan of Rajinikanth has decided to give a special birthday gift to his matinee idol on December 2012.

Lawrence is making arrangements to unveil a special album dedicated to Superstar on his birthday. "I am one of those crores of fans of Superstar Rajinikanth. I have a high regard for him and he is really a wonderful human being. I want to dedicate a special album for Rajini sir on his coming birthday, which is very special (12-12-12). Music director Vijay Antony is composing the songs and it will be like a big treat for all his fans. It's my gift to the Superstar," he revealed.

Speculations are ripe that Lawrence was doing so to draw the attention of the superstar and to bag the offer to direct a film. His last outing Rebel bombed at the Box Office, incurring huge losses to the producers.

The makers of Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'Vikramsihma' have earlier thought of releasing it on December 12, but called off their plans due to the delay in shooting and post-production. Fans have a reason to rejoice as the 3D version of the star's 2007 hit Shivaji will be hitting the screens on the same day.

Mahesh-Venky's SVSC audio 'The Best' !!

The much-awaited multi starrer flick Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu which has Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh in the lead is going to be the best album composed by music director Mickey J Meyer.

Recollecting his association with producer Dil Raju and the output of SVSC, Mickey said,"Even 1 year after my father's death, I couldn't become normal. When I'm in that situation, Dil Raju encouraged me a lot and gave me the offer to compose music for SVSC which is my first biggie till date. In fact, he is like a godfather to me in the Industry".

"Dil Raju has a great music sense and everyone I try something new, I will make sure that he listens to it. Then he gives me a clarity on what he is expecting from me. That's why, working with him is already very comfortable. The music of SVSC is the best in my career," he added.

While the audio launch of SVSC will be held on December 13 to coincide with Venky's birthday, the film is likely to hit the screens on January 11. Get ready for a rocking album!

Director digging his own grave! !!

Although it's too harsh to make such statement, one gets the same feeling looking at the desperate attempts of director Gunasekhar to make a strong comeback. This fading director has chosen a woman oriented script now and being the producer, he has prepared himself to spend nothing short of Rs 40 crore on it! Why does he want to take such a huge risk when he has a series of flops under his belt?

A film like Damarukam which was made with a budget of over Rs 40 crore with stars Nagarjuna & Anushka failed to recover all of it's investment prior to the release and now due to the average talk, everyone associated with the film including the producer, distributors and buyers will be incurring heavy losses. Then how could Rudrama Devi which has Anushka alone end up making table profits? Seems like Gunasekhar has learnt nothing from the huge failures he tasted due to lavish sets starting from Arjun to Varudu.

When a magnum opus film like Arundathi which has perfect blend of gripping screenplay and breathtaking visuals can be made with a budget of Rs 13 crore, why can't Gunasekhar focus on making Rudrama Devi at least on a moderate budget around Rs 25 crore? Point to be noted!

Producer Leaks Balayya's 100th Film Details !!

The two most special moments in Nandamuri Balakrishna's career may be the release of his 100th film and his entry into electoral politics. As the actor has already declared that he would be contesting the elections from one of the Assembly constituencies, the focus has been now shifted to the landmark film.

A strong buzz in the film circles is that K Raghavendra Rao's son Prakash (Anaganaga O Dheerudu fame) will direct Balayya. However, producer Sai Baba (Sri Rama Rajyam fame) condemned the reports and confirmed that he would be producing Balakrishna's 100th film and the directer will be the one who is quite popular in both Tollywood and Bollywood. He also gave a hint that the director may be a debutant and two foreign beauties have been confirmed to play the female leads. This project which was expected to be made with a high-budget will go to the floors in the first half of 2013.

Speculations about the 100th film might have prompted the producer to leak the information and now it's up to the fans to guess who will be directing Balakrishna's landmark film. Balayya seems to be taking his time to make it a memorable one. For now let's believe the wait is worth it!

Ex-Boyfriend not on talking terms with Tapsee !!

Tapsee's alleged boyfriend Mahat Raghavendra (Ajith's Gambler fame - played Bar Owner in the film) who got into a public brawl with Manchu Manoj few months ago declares he isn't friend with the Tollywood actor anymore and also not on talking terms with the actress.

During a recent interview Mahat was asked what was his equation with Manoj and Tapsee after the brawl, then the actor replied,"We no more share a friendship and we aren't childhood buddies either as claimed by Manoj. Whenever we come face-to-face, we are just courteous like 'Hi' and 'Bye'. I'm not on talking terms with Tapsee" .

Manoj has allegedly manhandled Mahat outside a happening bar in June this year. The Kollywood actor filed a complaint against Manoj, but later withdrawn it after a compromise between both the parties. Speculations have been ripe that both the actors fought for Tapsee and Mahat's recent revelation has given strength to those reports.

Talk-Of-Town: Mega Family's Iron Leg !!

Mega family heroes are growing in numbers with each passing day. But they all are not happening to be lucky for one guy and here is that talk going on in Film Nagar at the moment.

The whole mega bunch of heroes has graced for the launching function of Sai Dharam Tej and that movie is YVS Chowdary's 'Rey'. Till date, this movie is not getting completed and there is a talk that this flick is halted permanently. Now, Sai Dharam Tej has started his second under the direction of AS Ravikumar Chowdary. Again, the whole set of mega heroes have graced for the launch and list includes Chiru, Pawan, Arjun, and Sirish. If this flick goes well and releases, then Mega family will not get any tag but if something happens opposite, 'Iron Leg' tag is the only one that adores Mega family, says a cine observer.

Well, cinema industry is a bundle of sentiments and we have to hear whatever that comes and accept it only when facts support them!

Akshay And Prabhas Should Stop This !!

One is hunk hero of Tollywood and other one is aged superstar of B-town. Both are said to be doing some common things now, which are looking a bit 'extra' though they may call them as masala elements for fans.

When Prabhas kicks the bonnet of a car with his leg, the front two wheels of the car just bolt out and fly away from their position. And, if Akshay Kumar thumps the jeep of goons with his leg, all those goons just scatter away from the vehicle. Prabhas is doing that stunt for 'Mirchi', while Akshay is performing it for his forthcoming 'Khiladi 786'. Both these stunts look unreal and even fans of our star-heroes are not accepting them. Hitting 100 goons in a style is okay, but these impossible things are somewhat unacceptable these days. So, what our heroes will say about this is something we need to wait for.

On the other hand, Prabhas' Mirchi is said to be moving away from Sankranthi race, as two big flicks including Charan's Naayak and Mahesh-Venky's Seethamma Vaakitlo are hitting the marquee.
