Grapevine in the Industry is that Prabhas upcoming film Mirchi which was scheduled for January 11th release may get postponed.
According to the reliable sources, although a major portion of Mirchi shoot has been wrapped with the Tamilnadu schedule, some talkie part, songs and action sequences still need to be shot. So the makers are now aiming for a January end release (most probably on 25th Jan).
If Prabhas backs off from the race, Ram Charan's Nayak will take a flying star at the Box Office cashing in on the festival season. Only Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu (Dec 4), Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Cheetu (Dec 21) and Nayak (Jan 9) are bang on target. There is still no clarity on the release dates of Raviteja's Sir Vacharu, Ram's Ongole Gitta, Naga Chaitanya-Deva Katta's Auto Nagar Surya, Rajinikanth's Kochadaiyaan, Kamal's Vishwaroopam, Karthi's Bad Boy and Arya-Anushka-Selvaraghavan's Brindavanam Lo Nandakumarudu.
As many as 10-biggies are gearing up for release in the next three months, so it's really a big gamble. Let's see who will have the last laugh!
